Attack on Titan - Volume 11 (2013)

Author/Artist: Hajime Isayama
Publisher: KC Magazine

Synopsis:
With their identities revealed, the Armored Titan and the Colossal Titan try to make their escape with Eren and Ymir in tow, but the Survey Corps will not let them go so easily.

Story/Characters:
You may still be reeling from the revelation of who the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan really are, but you don't get to dwell on it too much during the intense brawl between Eren and the Armored Titan. In the aftermath we get a bit of a breather, but the dialog raises more questions than it answers. You may be able to draw more conclusions than Eren since he is, after all, kinda dumb and just a little bit psycho.

Art:
Half this volume is a big fight sequence and this is where Isayama shines. The faces overall look more solid in the dialogue-heavy second half as well, so that's definitely a good thing.

Conclusion:
We have a killer action set piece followed by greater exploration into the mysteries of the series. We don't get full disclosure, obviously, but we learn a bit and have enough to keep us going. If you like wrestling, you'll particularly enjoy the Eren-Armored Titan fight.
