Impressions:
This is another one of those movies I saw all the time as a kid as part of the family film canon, so    I have a bit of a soft spot for this film. It's not an amazing film, but it's entertaining and easy to watch. The trials and travails of a simple trip to the bus station downtown seems a little quaint, but I suppose that adds a bit to its charm. The characters are appealing and Elizabeth Shue carries the movie well. It's a good showing for Chris Columbus' directorial debut. The blues club scene is particularly good. Give this one a watch.
