After Death (1989)

Synopsis:
The lone survivor of a rampage of the undead returns to the cursed island where her researcher parents were killed with a crew of mercenaries.

Impressions:
The premise is decent enough, but this isn't a very good movie by any measure. Rather than having two separate groups exploring the island, it would've been more streamlined for it to be a single expedition (not that much happens with the second group). Because pretty much everyone dies because they're stupid, there's no intellectual appeal to the kills to go along with the underwhelming visual presentation. About the only thing I can compliment is the score, which is nice if you just want some 80s cheese. There's nothing here that makes this worth recommending, so pass on it.
