Impressions:
If you're familiar with the work of David Cronenberg, you have some idea of what you'll be getting into here. Mind screw blending modern technology and body horror. Basically, this movie does for video games what Videodrome did for TV, though that may be a bit of an oversimplification. Honestly, there's not that much resemblance to actual gaming, even in a speculative sense, so that might take you out of it a bit. I appreciate the Cronenbergian elements, but this movie really didn't do that much for me. If you're a Cronenberg fan, you may like this, but otherwise I doubt it'll draw you in.
