Impressions:
It's kinda nice going back to these OAVs from the 90s. The market has changed so much since then and you don't see this kind of story anymore. Yoshiaki Kawajiri seems like an unlikely choice to direct, but you can see a few of his trademark visual touches and main villain Revi appears to have been rendered more in his style than the rest of the cast. It appears that the budget was a bit limited but those resources were focused on the fight scenes, which for the most part look rather good. Being based on the series' original abortive run, we don't get a complete story but an introductory arc is decently contained in these four episodes. It's a step or two above the average stuff going to video back in the day and is at least worth a watch.
