Impressions:
Although I was a little late to the party, once I started in on this series, I voraciously consumed just about everything I could, buying up all the manga that was currently available amid the corona-induced delays of this season. I'm quite happy to say that if the first season made a fan of you, you're going to be quite happy with what you get here. The already brilliant source material is beautifully brought to the screen with amazing performances that further enhance the experience. We get a new element to the group dynamic in the form of the stick-in-the-mud Iino, who's particularly fun in her clashes with Ishigami. Speaking of Ishigami, I'm quite thankful that we cover the Sports Festival Arc near the end of the season for the wonders it does for his character development. Closing on the cell phone episode brings it all to nice poignant end, at least for now. I'm certainly hoping things settle down so we can have a third season waiting for us next year. In the meantime, add this to your collection.
