Synopsis:
With Tadano's help, Komi continues her efforts to meet her goal of making 100 friends.
Impressions:
Given how much I enjoyed the first season of this show, it was nice to know a followup was in the offing right away. For the most part, this is a continuation of the formula, but we do see some incremental progress in the development of Komi's social skills and the relationship between her and Tadano. The best new addition is Katai-kun, who's a delight whenever he's onscreen. The school trip arc is a particular highlight as well. Now, there were some issues with the studio which resulted in a dip in animation quality for Episodes 10 and 11, but the quality of the story manages to offset that dip and they come around and kick things up a notch for the finale. Basically, if you liked the first season, you'll like the second just as much. Go out and get it.
