The top-secret Projekt RENOU has been developing augmented Core Unit Hybrids dubbed Erinyes for direct combat action. Now that a Lost World has become a battleground between the New Earth Empire and the Martian Alliance, the project director has a perfect opportunity to prove the viability of his Erinyes. A test squad of Erinyes is deployed to the planet surface to infiltrate the locals and sabotage the Alliance's control, but these top-of-the-line combat units may meet their match when they face the Alliance's secret weapon.
