The Knight's Twilight

 

Seventeen years after the Battle of Darkwall, Gladius has changed. The boy king Edric is little more than a puppet of his courtiers and the former heroes of the kingdom, the few who are still alive, have fallen into obscurity. Mark the Guardian lives a quiet life on his estate, training three squires to become the new generation of knights, but then he receives the call to lead an expedition to aid Gladius' new allies in Titan as they struggle with a rebellion. In this curious reversal of history, he must wield a blade in battle once more, for the last time.
