Impressions:
While I can't say I've been the biggest fan of the Carnosaur films thus far, the first two films weren't a complete waste of time. I can't quite say the same for this one. From the opening with the farcical soldiers who'd get laughed off a paintball field, you know you're in for some cringe. I want to make a Gravy SEAL Meal Team Six joke, but these are supposed to be Army (SF even, but I feel that calling them "Special Education Operators" would be a bit tacky). There are no real stand-out characters like the last couple films, but the attempts at humor with them do occasionally land, so that's something. The dinosaur attack scenes are generally terrible, with some awful camera tricks to try to mask the limits of the special effects (and making it worse, I'd say). It was a real slog, but there might be just enough to serve as riffing material if you've got some buddies and an adult beverage or two to get you through it. Otherwise, pass on this one.
