Impressions:
Do you remember when we would have all these movies people would call "Die Hard on a [X]"? Well, if I told you this was Phone Booth in an SUV, that catches the basic spirit of it. Our protagonist is such a miserable little punk that you may well find yourself on the antagonist's side. There is some social commentary at work, but it's all rather basic and not likely to move anyone on either side of the fence. Bill Skarsgård is competent as the kind of character he's supposed to portray, but the real charm point, unsurprisingly, is Anthony Hopkins' performance. He seems to be having a lot of fun, which is enough for me to have fun too. I'd only only give this a "Take It or Leave It" otherwise, but if you're a Hopkins fan, I'd say it's worth a watch.
