The nations of the Grand Alliance underestimated the threat from the Demon Realm to their sorrow, but after years of intense fighting on multiple fronts, Valeria is spearheading a counteroffensive to bring the fight to the enemy. A joint task force centered around an experimental airship prepares to undertake a series of exercises to ensure mission readiness and the ability of units from different nations to properly coordinate when it matters most.

As all of this is going on, ghosts from the past rise up to make certain that old sins are neither forgotten nor forgiven. Can these failures be overcome so that a new path forward can be forged, or will they doom this venture before it can even truly begin?
