Impressions:
I abandoned last season's I'm Living with an Otaku NEET Kuno'ichi!? because I found it too obnoxious and this seemed to have a somewhat similar premise, so I had some doubts at first but gave it a shot anyway. I'm happy to say this is a very different story, much better written with comedy that lands a lot better. If you like comedic sociopathy, this is pretty nice, but there are some twists in the story that almost feel like the writer is deliberately punishing you for enjoying the very comedic sociopathy at the series foundation. If you really stop to think about it, the main characters are awful people, but what else do you expect from professional killers? You may just opt not to think about it to keep having fun, but I do appreciate the subversive element to the writing. The cutesy style might throw you off a bit, but I feel that's part of the subversion. Although I'm left with somewhat complicated feelings, this is quite good and well worth a watch.
