The Holy Knight and His Lady

The Grand Alliance underestimated the Demon Realm to its sorrow and now in order to win the war, the free peoples of Alkoresh must be prepared to do whatever it takes. In Liberia, a top-secret project seeks to use the enemy's weapons against them, taking Demonlight-compatible soldiers and pushing them to edge of Demonization as superior killing machines. Despite the hubris of this scheme, the project planners are not without all caution. For the most dangerous test subjects, Paladins are recruited to keep their powers in check. One such example is a Search and Rescue pilot who has been selected to partner with a newly commissioned Naval aviator whose humanity hangs by a thread. Can he pull her back from the brink or she just be one more soul he has failed to save?
