Fire Emblem: Sword of the Conqueror - Volume 6 (2004)

Author: Hiroshi Izawa
Artist: Kotaro Yamada
Publisher: Jump Comics

Synopsis:
Al races to Princess Guinevere and the Fire Emblem, but King Zephyr has already gotten there ahead of him.

Story/Characters:
We're only halfway into the series and we already have a showdown with the last boss. This is, of course, not the final battle with Zephyr and it serves to establish Al's background and his connection to the Fire Emblem. It's a little immersion-breaking to call a class change as such in-universe, but so it goes. Tina gets to step up at the end, so it's good for her character development.

Art:
The art is pretty solid here. While the scale of the action is smaller than the previous volume, a lot of work went into making the fight with Zephyr rather flashy.

Other:
We get character sheets for Zephyr, Guinevere and Dragon Lord Al, plus fanart, the Q&A column, and two-page behind-the-scenes feature.

Conclusion:
We get a pretty good fight with Zephyr and if you're invested in Al's character, you should like the reveals and such. It's well enough worth a read.
