Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1941)

Director: Victor Fleming
Starring: Spencer Tracy, Ingrid Bergman, Lana Turner
Synopsis:
A doctor develops a potion to isolate his dark side, but as his uninhibited alter ego indulges in all manner of vices, he finds it more and more difficult to stay in control.
Impressions:
I haven't seen many adaptations of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, so I can't compare quite like I can for Dracula or Frankenstein. This is a solid movie. It's Spencer Tracy's performance that sells it. Ingrid Bergman is also good as the barmaid who becomes the target of Hyde's affections. There's not much more to say about it. You probably already know the gist of the story, so it's all about how it gets delivered. It's done well here, so give it a watch.
