Death Force (1978)

Director: Cirio H Santiago
Starring: James Iglehart, Carmen Argenziano, Leon Isaac Kennedy

Synopsis:
Left for dead by his partners in crime, a Vietnam vet is saved by Japanese holdouts on a remote island and trained in the ways of the samurai in order to exact his revenge.

Impressions:
This isn't high cinema, but this is an entertaining blaxploitation revenge flick. James Iglehart doesn't have a lot of films to his credit, but he's good in the lead role. I liked the dynamic with him and the two holdouts. There's some good action with decent payoff in the end. If you like this sort of film, you'll want to give it a watch.
