Impressions:
When there are dueling movies, one wins and the others fade into obscurity, most generally. Speed is an amazing picture, one of the highlights of 90s action films. Blown Away is... not all that bad. It's okay. I was expecting a lot of unintentional comedy from Tommy Lee Jones trying to do an Irish accent, but he didn't do a bad job and kept it pretty consistent. He was hamming it up almost as much as he did as Two-Face in Batman Forever. If that sounds entertaining, you should have fun. Jeff Bridges does fine in his role, as do Lloyd Bridges and Forest Whitaker.

It's not a great movie, but you might enjoy it.
