Synopsis:
A British drifter finds his way to a small American town around the time a circus arrives, both with dangerous secrets.
Impressions:
I needed a werewolf movie for the current feature, so why not another Howling sequel? You honestly could've made a solid enough movie with either the drifter in a small town or the circus but ¿porqué no los dos? I like the sense of grandeur Harker tries to instill in the sideshow acts. It's BS, yeah, but the showmanship he invests both on and off the stage is intriguing, and credit to Bruce Payne for being the most interesting thing in the film. I would've liked the sideshow attractions to be fleshed out more as characters, but we get two kinds of story with a little bit of interest to them, half-baked so neither can reach their full potential. The effects aren't bad and though some points it can get a bit dull, there might be just enough for you to consider it worth your while. Take it or leave it.
