Hellraiser: Hellseeker (2002)

Hellraiser: Hellseeker (2002)

Director: Rick Bota
Starring: Dean Winters, Ashley Laurence, Doug Bradley

Synopsis:
The husband of Kirsty Cotton is suffering from amnesia after the car crash that killed his wife. While he faces suspicion from the police and finds himself lured into sinful indulgence, he comes to realize that his hands may not be as clean as he thinks.

Impressions:
In some ways, this movie is similar to the previous entry in that we have a protagonist who's not a particularly good person facing his demons. Believe it or not, I actually prefer this to Hellraiser III and like to put I, II and VI together into what I call the Kirsty Cotton Trilogy. This film helps close her character arc and I actually prefer this closure to the closure we get to the overall storyline in IV. It's still an inferior film, but it and III contend with each other as the least bad films to follow Hellraiser II.

If you're looking to see the end of Kirsty's arc, this movie is worth seeing. Otherwise you may not want to stick around.
