Director: Victor Garcia

Synopsis:
Two families struggle with the aftermath of their sons' bloody binge of debauchery in Mexico and the evil they unlocked.

Impressions:
I'd said I wasn't going to watch this film. One look at the crappy cover was enough for me to say, "Pass," and the fact that they weren't able to bring Doug Bradley back as Pinhead was even more reason, to say nothing of how little good has come of all the sequels in this series. If it wasn't for the 2022 reboot, I would've stuck to my pledge, but I decided to pair this with that film to round out my coverage. What's the verdict? Well, surprise, surprise, my instincts were entirely on point. This is a very cheap production that takes a mildly interesting setup and gives us a bleh payoff with meh execution. The performances aren't good at all, except for Steven Brand, who's decent enough. I'll try not to be too mean to Stephan Smith Collins, but he looks daggone goofy as Pinhead (though not quite as crappy as what we see on the poster). I'd compliment his voice, but he was actually dubbed over by veteran voice actor Fred Tatasciore, so the credit goes there instead. Unless you're a completionist, there's no reason at all to see this movie. Pass on it.
