Synopsis:
Four students serving detention find themselves trapped in the game world of Jumanji and must work together to beat the game in order to go home.

Impressions:
There were plenty of people out there who ignored this movie on first glance, only to later give it a chance. I initially wasn't all that receptive to the new take on how Jumanji works, but this gets a satisfactory explanation at the start of the film where the game adapts in order to lure new players in. The comic antics of Kevin Hart and Jack Black in particular make the film enjoyable, though I have to credit Dwayne Johnson and Karen Gillan as well, who are also funny enough to keep pace. So long as you're willing to take this movie for what it is and if its brand of humor appeals to you, it's definitely worth a watch.
