Impressions:
I'm not usually a fan of compilation movies that pare down TV shows, often diluting the experience while condensing the material. I'm sure there are some people who get some use out of them and there are probably some cases where trimming the fat actually improves the experience. I'd heard that I needed the third movie before moving on to the second season of the TV series and that there were some changes to the compilation duology, so that was reason enough to check this out. However, the new additions are really quite minor, so pretty much all you get is the first eight episodes of Season 1 in a two-hour package. Perhaps because it's been a few months since I saw S1, I wasn't able to notice any jarring abridgements, so I really don't have much objection to this. If the TV series didn't exist, I might rate it higher with all my praise for that piled on here, but because the TV series does exist, I'll say this is only worth watching if you don't have the time for the TV series or if you're wanting a quicker way to recap before going into the third movie and S2.
