Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Eternal (2012)

[劇場版 魔法少女まどか☆マギカ[後編]永遠の物語]

---

Director: Akiyuki Shinbo, Yukihiro Miyamoto
Starring: Aoi Yuki, Chiwa Saito, Eri Kitamura

Synopsis:

Sayaka has become a Witch and Kyoko brings Madoka along in a desperate bid to try to save her.

Impressions:
There's not much I have to add beyond what I've said in my review of the previous film. Whatever cuts were made to the original aren't particularly obvious, nor are any additions. If it's your first exposure to the franchise, this paired with Beginnings is a perfectly acceptable way to watch it, but there's nothing new to warrant a watch for those who have already seen the original series. As with the previous film, it's worth a watch on its own merits, hence the rating below.
