Impressions:
As fun as the first movie was, I hadn't heard good things about this and if it wasn't for review purposes, I probably wouldn't have watched this at all. It's times like this that I really wish I didn't do things for review purposes. I hate sequels that seize the Conflict Ball just so the story can happen. There's some merit to the setup, but I didn't enjoy seeing it play out and the vast majority of everything that followed was just miserable. Very few of the jokes actually land and though they at times try to up the spectacle of the action sequences, they don't have half as much punch. Probably the best part of the film was the mid-credit sequence, but you can see that without the 100 minutes of pain that precedes it. Skip this. Just watch the first movie again.
