Synopsis:

Impressions:
Two things you quickly notice about this season is that the show is in the hands of a different studio and that the episodes are now half-length. Some people complain about the work of Tezuka Pro here and while I admit they're not quite as much on their A-game as Feel was in the first season, it's not that big of a different. Ironically, despite the reduced time per episode, there's more of a focus on a running plotline than the more episodic nature of the first season. A bigger bone of contention is likely going to be the fact that Hotaru is absent for a decent chunk of the season. If you watch the show specifically for her, you'll be disappointed. We get some new blood in the form of convenience store manager Beniyutaka to act as Kokonotsu's rival and the clutzy part-timer Hajime, who's nearly as much of an odd duck as Hotaru but knows next to nothing about dagashi. Regardless of whether you find the differences good or bad, the show is worth watching all the same.
