The uDoll Corporation is the leading producer of artificial humanoids in the world. In almost all sectors of the economy, uDolls have a significant presence, but this is not without controversy. For every person who sees uDolls as the solution to a number of society's ills, there is someone who sees them as part of the problem. Amid these tensions, Dr. Henry Clark, one of the pioneers of uDoll technology, passes away and bequeathes his personal uDoll to his granddaughter Jane, a bitter opponent of uDolls. For Elizabeth, the uDoll in question, if she is sent back to the factory, her memories will be reset and the precious time she spent with Dr. Clark will be lost. For the sake of those memories, can she prove her worth to the person who has the least reason to believe in her?
