Synopsis:
The chosen Thirteen Heroes carrying the hopes of all humanity challenge the Demon Lord of the South.
Impressions:
I went into this one blind and I recommend you do so as well to make the opening setup hit harder. I like the concept of the eponymous Clevatess travelling about putting humanity to the test, especially as he gets a taste of some of the worst that humanity has to offer. There are some assorted conspiracies about to add some spice, including the plotting of Clevatess' fellow Demon Lords. It's a fairly decent dark fantasy, definitely a cut above the usual flood of isekai slop, but doesn't quite succeed at being something truly exceptional. It's worth a watch at least, so if you're in the mood for this kind of story, give it a shot.
