Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (2000)

Synopsis:
The Joker has returned years after his apparent death and the new Batman must get to the bottom of it.

Impressions:
While not a die-hard fan of Batman Beyond when it was on the air, I liked it well enough, but I never went out of my way to check this one out. It's actually pretty good in its own right, but if you're a fan of the series, you'll have all the more reason to appreciate it. The animation quality doesn't get a bump for this outing, but aside from a little jank, it still looks good enough. The backstory that sets up the plot is good and the final showdown with the Joker is brilliant. It's definitely worth a watch, so give it a shot.
